Other browsers may work, but are not fully supported.

TechJet works seamlessly on:

  1. Apple iPad

  2. Microsoft Surface tablet

  3. Laptop

  4. Desktop computer

Best practice

  1. Update to the latest OS

  2. Use Chrome or Safari

  3. Keep wireless enabled (for tablets)

Connection guidance

  1. Apple → AirPrint

  2. Windows/Surface → WiFi or USB (most flexible)

Recommended Printers

TechJet is optimized and tested with:

  1. Canon PIXMA TR150

  2. Canon PIXMA TR160

  3. Canon PIXMA iP110

These models deliver:

  • Automatic label scaling

  • Reliable alignment

  • Consistent logs + labels printing

  • Minimal setup

TechJet Tip: After extensive testing across brands, Canon PIXMA printers consistently required the fewest adjustments and produced the most accurate clinical prints. We strongly recommend these for guaranteed success.

Supported Labels

TechJet is currently optimized for:

Avery Products Corporation Avery® 5428 labels (1" × 0.75")

This size:

  • Fits standard histology slides

  • Aligns perfectly with TechJet layouts

  • Ensures print accuracy

Other formats are not supported at this time to maintain clinical precision.

Overview

TechJet is a web-based application built to be flexible and streamline your Mohs lab workflows. Below are the recommended browsers, devices and printers that have been thoroughly tested for optimal TechJet use.

TechJet operates best on the following browsers:

  2. Safari

Ensure you are using one of these browsers to experience optimal functionality and performance.

Supported Devices

  1. Apple iPad

  2. Microsoft Surface Tablet 

  3. Laptop

  4. Desktop Computer

Ensure your devices are on the latest operating system with Chrome or Safari installed.

For Apple Devices: Ensure wireless features are enabled. Use AirPrint if available and connect to the printer via the same WiFi network.

For Windows Devices: Test both wireless and wired connections. Windows devices are more flexible as they can connect both ways.

TechJet strongly recommends the Canon Pixma printers above for guaranteed success. If using TechJet on a tablet (iPad or Surface), download the Canon Print app to wirelessly sync your device and printer.

TechJet Tip: After thoroughly testing other portable printers, including the Epson Workforce WF-110 and HP OfficeJet 200, the Canon PIXMA consistently stood out. Unlike other printers that require manual scaling and paper size adjustments when switching between labels and logs, the Canon PIXMA model handles these settings automatically.

Supported Labels

Currently the app is optimized for Avery® 5428 labels (1" × 0.75"), which are sized to fit standard histology slides and provide the most reliable performance with our labeling workflow.

At this time, other label formats are not supported to ensure accuracy, alignment, and print consistency.
